My  Reflection:

I think I did a good job with pedal power because I did very well on the bike.  I could turn my head and see the colour of the cones when we practised turning our heads.  It was tricky to do the turtle race because it was hard to go slow.  Next time I would like to ride for a longer distance.

My Did You Ever....poem

My Reflection:

I was successful because I kept my poem on the same subject and I used nouns and verbs.  It was tricky to find something to talk about.

Learning to do a reader response

My Reflection
I was learning how to connect a poem to my life. It was tricky because we had to figure out the poem and what the author was saying.  I am proud of myself because I finished the activity. Next time I would like to do an even longer poem.

I am learning to be a leader for the Walking School Bus.  I know it will be tricky to get all of the things on my licence.  I will need help with it.

Learning to solve maths word problems

My reflection:

I was leaning how to solve a problem in different ways.The problem was how much money would Shreya have after 5 weeks.  She got $4.50c every week.There was another challenge how much money how much money would she have after 10 weeks.  For the first challenge I used addition to add up the dollars then the cents.   For the second one I used doubles.

The extra challenge was hard but I did it. I counted on from ten weeks. $45 + $9 = $54. $9 would be 2 weeks pockey money so I added 10 + 2 and that made 12 weeks.

I am proud of my work because I did all the questions. I persevered.  I liked problem like this because it was a kids problem.
